Not sure what I want to do here other than try it out. I really like the idea of being able to simply boost a long-form blog entry into the social media space through federation.
I don't think I'll be staying here long-term. If I like the experience enough to keep a Plume blog going, I'll probably end up self-hosting on my own site - though how I balance things between Plume and my 16-years-running WordPress blog, K-Squared Ramblings, is still an open question.
But this seems like a good place to experiment and get a feel for how Plume works, and how it interacts with other Fediverse projects like Mastodon. (Speaking of Mastodon, you can find me there at @KelsonV@Wandering.Shop and a few topic-specific alts.)
